The DTS Art Committee and DTS PiE volunteers work with Angie Mikula, our DTS Art Teacher, to bring a yearly Fine Arts Festival showcasing EVERY DTS Student’s artwork.
The school is transformed into a colorful Gallery filled with one, two and three dimensional pieces lining the main entrance and hallways. Craft tables at the festival allow students to create their own masterpieces as each class visits the Gallery during the school day.
The evening is set aside for families who come to see all the fabulous creations after school hours.
How our volunteers help
A Festival of this caliber needs the help of many hands. Volunteers help mount, track and display artwork for many weeks prior to the festival. Attend those dates that work with your schedule. Come join our committee, no artistic capabilities needed, meet new friends, and the best part is you get a sneak peak at all the DTS artist’s work. Contact Angie Mikula or DTS PiE for more details.
