President, Julie Luster-Roell

I have considered Delaware Township home most of my life having graduated from DTS and making lifelong friendships in the classrooms. My family and I moved to Rosemont in 2010. My daughter is entering sixth grade. Since she began at DTS, I have served on PiE’s Board as Treasurer, Recording Secretary, VP for Fundraising, and now as President. My other recent volunteer experiences include serving on Delaware Township’s Recreation Commission as well as coaching soccer through Delaware Township’s Athletic Association. During the day, I work at Princeton University’s in research accounting. In my spare time, I treasure adventures with my daughter, spending time with friends and family, and walking along our beautiful Township roads. I look forward to working with all the volunteers at DTS and look forward to making new memories!!!

Elementary School VP, Kyla Glassner

Delaware Township is both a school and community that I have always considered home. I attended DTS from K-8, with both of my parents teaching in the school for many years. My husband and I officially moved back to the area about ten years ago. We live in Rosemont with our three boys. We currently have a ninth grader and twin fifth graders.
I was an elementary school teacher for eight years however, currently enjoy being a stay-at-home mom. The years I spent in education helped me truly understand the important role of parental support. It is both helpful and valuable to a positive educational experience.
I am excited to be on the PiE board as the VP for Elementary School programming. I will strive to find relevant and engaging assemblies to enrich our elementary school students.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or programming ideas you may have. I always look forward to working with this amazing group of volunteers to enhance our children’s education.

Middle School VP, Emy Drew

Seven years ago, my husband, Tim, and I were fortunate enough to purchase a home here in Delaware Township.  We quickly realized what a treasure this community and the Delaware Township School are.  We love watching our kids enjoy the kind of childhoods that we had– spending every waking minute outdoors, surrounded by nature,  riding bikes and playing ball with all the neighborhood kids. Being an elementary school teacher myself  in a neighboring district, I am not able to attend as many of the daytime events as I would like, but I want to be a part of my children’s school lives.  When this position opened up, I happily accepted the nomination, excited to get to know and work alongside such a devoted group of amazing parents and staff. As the PiE Vice President of Elementary Programming, I  look forward to providing assemblies and experiences that will engage and  inspire our children and enrich their educational experiences. Please feel free to reach out with any programming ideas that you may have.  I look forward to working with you all and look forward to a great year!

Recording Secretary, Danielle Hartdorn

Four years ago my family was lucky enough to move to Delaware Township. We chose Delaware Township because of the sense of community and the reputation of the pre k-8 school district. We have loved watching our son, Reece, flourish in school and participate in Delaware Township sports. I am a Den Leader for Reece’s Cub Scout pack and I’ve also been a Homeroom Partner for the last two years. I have been a 4th grade teacher in Montgomery Township for over 20 years. My family enjoys hiking with our rescue dog, playing sports and traveling to see family. I have a passion for education and I am looking forward to serving on the Board.

Treasurer, Kate Smith

My husband and I recently moved to beautiful Stockton from Flemington last year. It was definitely the best choice for us, just with the experience we had last year with the school system during such a crazy time. We have three children, two of which are currently in Kindergarten and 3rd grade. When we moved to the area I knew I wanted to be more involved in the school and my kids education. I am super excited to be working as the treasurer this year. I work as a RN for Hunterdon Cardiovascular and really enjoy what I do. My kids and I are always busy with various activities whether it be sports or just playing outside. I can’t wait to see what this year holds for us!
