President, Diana Rumage
I’m a mother of two boys and a native New Yorker. I’ve also lived in Georgia and various parts of New Jersey before settling in Delaware Township. I worked in Advertising for several years, but left the industry to become a stay-at-home mom. I’m currently a substitute teacher at DTS. I got involved with DTS PIE when my elder son started kindergarten. I served as Treasurer and Corresponding Secretary before becoming President in 2018. My participation in DTS PiE has been a rewarding experience. I enjoy contributing to the school community and enriching our kids’ education, all while making friends and having fun.

Seven years ago, my husband, Tim, and I were fortunate enough to purchase a home here in Delaware Township. We quickly realized what a treasure this community and the Delaware Township School are. We love watching our kids enjoy the kind of childhoods that we had– spending every waking minute outdoors, surrounded by nature, riding bikes and playing ball with all the neighborhood kids. Being an elementary school teacher myself in a neighboring district, I am not able to attend as many of the daytime events as I would like, but I want to be a part of my children’s school lives. When this position opened up, I happily accepted the nomination, excited to get to know and work alongside such a devoted group of amazing parents and staff. As the PiE Vice President of Elementary Programming, I look forward to providing assemblies and experiences that will engage and inspire our children and enrich their educational experiences. Please feel free to reach out with any programming ideas that you may have. I look forward to working with you all and look forward to a great year!

I have considered Delaware Township home most of my life having graduated from DTS and making lifelong friendships in the classrooms. My family and I moved to Rosemont in 2010. My daughter is entering fourth grade; since she began at DTS, I have served on PiE’s Board first as treasurer then recording secretary, and now as VP for Fundraising. My other volunteer experiences include serving on Delaware Township’s Recreation Commission as well as coaching soccer through Delaware Township’s Athletic Association. During the day, I work at Princeton University’s in the post-award research accounting office reporting dollars spent as well as working to ensure compliance with various regulations. In my spare time, I treasure adventures with my daughter, spending time with friends and family, and walking along our beautiful Township roads. I look forward to working with all the volunteers at DTS and look forward to making new memories!!!

I grew up on my family’s farm in Ringoes about a mile from where I live now with my husband, 2 sons, our cat and hens. We live on our own small farm and make every attempt to be good stewards of the land. In 2019, we registered our property as a new Monarch Waystation in Delaware Township (https://www.monarchwatch.org). After many years of traveling and working as an archaeologist, I returned to school to learn computer programming. I now work from my home office for an Australian company streamlining the delivery of ethics and compliance online training to Fortune 1000 companies. When I’m not at my desk, I can usually be found outside digging in the dirt or in my shop covered in paint and sawdust. This is my 3rd year as a DTS parent and I look forward to many more.
