President, Debbie Lubitz
As a DTS alumni and a parent to two Wildcats, this school, its students and staff are close to my heart. Having my own mother active at the school while growing up I learned just how important it is to have active volunteers to bring meaningful and memorable events here. When my oldest started here five years ago I instantly jumped into PiE attending meetings, becoming a Homeroom partner and volunteering for as many activities as possible. I am so excited to have the opportunity to serve as President of the PiE board for a third year where I, along with the rest of the Executive Board, hope to bring fun, enriching activities to our students and families of DTS.
In addition to serving on the PiE board, I am a substitute teacher at DTS and avid volunteer – I love coaching both my daughters in sports and driving monthly for Meals on Wheels. In our downtime, my family and I love hosting impromptu get-togethers for our family and friends and spending time with our rescue dog.
Middle School VP, Dawn MacDonald
I have been a lifelong resident of Hunterdon County. Nine years ago, my husband and I were grateful our son was chosen as a choice student at Delaware Township School. Residing in the area for so long, we always knew we wanted our children to attend the school. We now have just one boy in grade 6th in the district as my oldest just graduated DTS and are so happy we made the decision to place them at DTS. The school’s core values and town’s close-knit community is exactly what we hoped for.
I have been a Homeroom Partner for the past seven years and am a substitute teacher at the school. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, traveling, cooking, gardening and spending time with family and friends. Being part of the PiE Board is very fulfilling as I enjoy finding different ways to keep our children engaged through the everchanging times.
Elementary School VP, Dana Bord
My name is Dana Bord, and my husband, Mike, and I are proud parents to our 1st grade son, Benjamin. As a working mom, I truly value any opportunity to be involved in the school community and support the experiences our children have throughout the year. I am happy to join the PiE board because I enjoy helping with events, fundraising, and planning, and I would be excited to contribute in ways that positively impact our students, families, and staff.
Fundraising VP, Kassy George
I am a mom of three children Jacob in 5th grade, Makenzie in 2nd grade and Brady in kindergarten. I am a dedicated mom who is very involved in my children’s school and activities. I am passionate about creating a positive, supportive, and welcoming environment for students, teachers, and families. At my children’s previous school, I played an active role as PTO president where I assisted with organizing events, supporting school initiatives, and fostering strong family involvement within the school community. I am grateful for the opportunity to volunteer at DTS School and be apart of PiE and contribute my time, energy, and experience in any way that helps support students and staff. I am dependable, organized, and always eager to lend a helping hand wherever needed.
Recording Secretary, Elisabeth Cook
My name is Elisabeth Cook and I am happy to have the opportunity to become a DTS PiE executive board member for the 2026-2027 school year. My husband, Phil, and I moved to DT 2 years ago and became part of the DTS community this past school year when our son, Nathan, started preschool. I joined PiE to get involved with the school and community as well as understand how I can support the enriching activities our children experience in and out of school. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with PiE last year and hope to contribute even more as a PiE Board member this year.
Corresponding Secretary, Jenna Haxton
Hi, I’m Jenna Haxton, and I have proudly served as the Corresponding Secretary for the past 4 years. During my time on the PiE board I have also chaired and co-chair the book fair each year. I have 3 boys – my oldest graduated DTS this past year, a 7th grader, and a toddler starting pre-K in the fall, so our family will continue to be part of the school community for many years to come. I truly enjoy being involved, supporting our students, and helping create meaningful experiences for our kids, staff, and families.
Treasurer, Joan Hanson
Born & raised in Flemington, a lifelong resident of Hunterdon County. After living in East Amwell for 45 years I made the move to Sergeantsville last year. Worked at a local, family owned business for 47 years, retiring in December of 2022. Has 2 adult sons, both married & 1 granddaughter who attends DTS. Loves walking, gardening, reading & the beach.
