President, Debbie Lubitz

As a DTS alumni and a parent to two Wildcats, this school, its students and staff are close to my heart.  Having my own mother active at the school while growing up I learned just how important it is to have active volunteers to bring meaningful and memorable events here. When my oldest started here four years ago I instantly jumped into PiE attending meetings, becoming a Homeroom partner and volunteering for as many activities as possible. I am so excited to have the opportunity to serve as President of the PiE board for a second year where I, along with the rest of the Executive Board, hope to bring fun, enriching activities to our students and families of DTS.

In addition to serving on the PiE board, I am a substitute teacher at DTS, co-leader for two Girl Scout troops, softball coach and a Meals on Wheels volunteer driver. In our downtime, my family and I love hosting impromptu get-togethers for our family and friends and spending time with our rescue dog.

Middle School VP, Danielle HartDorn

In 2017, my family was lucky enough to move to Delaware Township. We chose Delaware Township because of the sense of community and the reputation of the pre k-8 school district. We have loved watching our son, Reece, flourish in school and participate in Delaware Township sports. I am a Den Leader for Reece’s Cub Scout pack and I’ve also been a Homeroom Partner for the last two years. I have been a 4th grade teacher in Montgomery Township for over 20 years.

My family enjoys hiking with our rescue dog, playing sports and traveling to see family. I have a passion for education and I am looking forward to serving on the Board.

Elementary School VP, Rachel Emanuele

When we had the opportunity to buy the house my husband grew up in and send our children to DTS, we jumped at it! I am the proud mom of three girls, twins who are in Kindergarten, and one just starting her first year in PreK. When we are home, I enjoy gardening, or making things by sewing, embroidering, or crocheting. When we’re not home with our two dogs, we are hiking or on an adventure in our camper!

Last year I was a homeroom partner, and this year I look forward to the fun assemblies that I’ll help plan for our students!

Fundraising VP, Dawn MacDonald

I have been a lifelong resident of Hunterdon County. Eight years ago, my husband and I were grateful our son was chosen as a choice student at Delaware Township School.  Residing in the area for so long, we always knew we wanted our children to attend the school. We now have two boys, grades 8th and 5th, in the district and are so happy we made the decision to place them at DTS. The school’s core values and town’s close-knit community is exactly what we hoped for.

I have been a Homeroom Partner for the past six years and have recently started subbing at the school. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, traveling, cooking, gardening and spending time with family and friends. Being part of the PiE Board is very fulfilling as I enjoy finding different ways to keep our children engaged through the everchanging times.

Recording Secretary, Leigh Geis

As a proud parent of a DTS preschooler (now kindergartener!), I got involved in PiE because I love helping out, and making our school a fun and supportive place for all our kids. Whether it’s assisting in events and  fundraisers, or just being there when an extra set of hands is needed, I enjoy being part of the action and working with such a great community.

I live in Delaware township with son, Asher and husband, Joe. When I’m not at school events, you can usually find me chasing around Asher and my dog (who are both chasing around our chickens and cat!). I’m excited to be part of PiE and can’t wait to see what we do together this year!

Corresponding Secretary, Jenna Haxton

My family and I moved to Delaware Township in 2019. We immediately fell in love with the town and the people who live here.  We have two boys who are students in the school.  Bentley is in 8th grade and Oliver is in 6th grade.  I have been a PiE Homeroom partner since my boys have started at the school and this is my fourth year on the Board. I am the owner of Haxton Homestead here in Delaware Township which keeps me busy but gives me the flexibility to volunteer with PiE.

In our free time our family loves to go camping and exploring what Hunterdon County has to offer.  I look forward to serving as Corresponding Secretary.
