You Take the Cake!

As part of Teacher Appreciation Week (which is the first week in May) we would like to continue with our extremely successful “You Take the Cake” event.  We would like to present each teacher with a dessert to take home to share with their family, and are once again asking for your help.

The desserts will be collected and distributed on Monday, May 2nd. Please sign up by Friday, April 29th to bake – https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C084EAFA92AA3F85-you.

We are looking for volunteers to bake and bring in a delicious, full-sized, homemade dessert.  They don’t have to be elaborate, however, we are looking for desserts that are not “out of a box”.  Think “What would I like to receive?”. Last year we received delicious looking desserts. We need a minimum of 63 desserts to cover the teaching staff alone.  That averages out to approximately 2½ desserts per class.

Last year one of the most frequently asked questions was, “How do I transport and present my dessert?” Party Fair and Michaels have inexpensive, various size cake boxes available that we recommend you use (Party Fair also has inexpensive, silver, cardboard bottoms for inside the boxes). This will allow for a uniform presentation of the desserts.
